Black pepper and cardamom open sharp and dry, jasmine barely softening them. Elemi, labdanum and clove build a resinous, smoky heart that reads unmistakably as church incense. Opoponax, oakmoss and rosewood hold the base dark, with tonka adding a faint sweetness.
