Vettii Extrait de Parfum - Agatho Parfum
Named for the House of the Vettii, the merchant brothers' villa. Lemon and fig open bright and milky, pink pepper, coriander, amber, saffron and myrrh fill a resinous middle, and cedar, Tolu balsam, oud and benzoin form the base.
How it wears. Fresh for a short while, then the resins take over and it turns balsamic and smoky. Patchouli and sandalwood keep the drydown grounded. Cold weather, evening, and extrait strength so it lasts.
