Mark Buxton

Because perfume is emotion transformed in molecules…Mark Buxton Perfumes Collection is a puzzle of sensations, a concentrate of intimate moments and easily close to a similar experience each of us should have had.

German perfumer Mark Buxton is considered to be one of the most talented and prolific perfumers in the world. He is the nose behind commercial, designer and indie fragrances that are worn and admired by millions. He was the first commercial nose to create his own brand, without hype, without press and with humility.

He discovered his talent through a bet. He bet that he could tell numerous perfumes apart. After his appearance on "Wetten, dass...?", he was finally offered an internship at Haarmann & Reimer.

A perfumer of the “old school” (he is a fan of classic perfumes like Nahema, Eternity and Chanel No. 5, yet he is the nose behind many contemporary fragrances - Le Labo and his collaboration with Comme des Garçons is considered the highlight of his career. Also worked with Givenchy, Paco Rabanne, Versace, Salvador Dali, Chopard, Burberry, Cartier, and Ferre.

His motto is: ''Simplicity is the ultimate degree of luxury.'', which is reflected in his work.
