The story

The chapel of gladioli.

Bergamot and elemi open bright and resinous, threaded with smoke. Orange blossom and tuberose bloom soft against suede, luminous rather than heavy. Saffron, ebony and cypriol give the base a cool, earthy weight — the damp stone of a side chapel.
