Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum - BDK Parfums
BDK's best-known fragrance, and the one that defined the house's register. Cardamom, fig and black tea open dry and vegetal, and the middle is a long slow blend of iris, vetiver, sandalwood and vanilla that never quite resolves into any one thing.
How it wears. The opening is green and slightly bitter — fig leaf more than fig fruit. It settles into something warm, woody and faintly milky, and stays close to the skin. All-season, genuinely unisex, and easy to wear daily.
